need to figure out which classes are going to be doing what and extending from where. also still need to figure out how the api works with the whole application.

flushed out more of the uml. gave the different classes different packages based on what was a controller, view, and model. added api dependency to pom.xml file but still need to do more research on it. and looking into angular with typescript
