I have an idea for a simple budget planner that takes the complexity out of personal finance. Personal finance apps like Mint are great, but they provide people with far more data than they know what to do with.

My idea takes the cost of living and spreads it out over the year. This way you will always know what the balance needs to be in your account, in order to pay your bills and how much money there is to play around with at any given time.
